Edda Wind Selects UniSea’s MRV/DCS Solution for Emissions Reporting

Edda Wind, a leading provider of specialized offshore wind service vessels, has chosen UniSea’s MRV/DCS solution to meet the new EU regulatory requirements for emissions and activity reporting.  

The Maritime Reporting and Verification (MRV) and Data Collection System (DCS) regulations require accurate reporting on fuel consumption, emissions, cargo data, and vessel activities. UniSea’s solution enables Edda Wind to simplify and automate these complex processes by integrating operational data with DNV’s Veracity platform.

The solution incorporates operational data, such as fuel consumption and emissions, with automated inputs like position data and distance sailed. These elements are combined, verified, and shared seamlessly with the DNV Veracity platform, ensuring compliance while reducing manual workload.
