Edda Wind is a provider of purpose-built Service Operation Vessels (SOV) and Commissioning Service Operation vessels (CSOV) to the global offshore wind market since 2015. The vessels accommodate wind turbine technicians and provide services during the commissioning and operation of offshore wind farms. The company owns and operates two vessels (Edda Passat and Edda Mistral) that are currently working for Ørsted and the CSOV Edda Breeze and the SOV Edda Brint, operating under long-term contracts for Ocean Breeze and Vestas, respectively. Additionally, Edda Wind has nine vessels currently under construction, consisting of one SOV and eight CSOVs. Among them, the SOV and one CSOV have already secured mid- to long-term contracts with Siemens Gamesa and SSE.
